6 Days/ 6 Nights Phang Nga Bay Explorer
Itinerary Suggestion
Sailing Day 1
Arrival by plane at Phuket airport and transfer by minibus to the catamaran at Ao Chalong Bay. Welcoming drinks aboard before setting off for the first stop of the journey Ao Po Bay, a small bay enclosed by islands with a great seafood restaurant at the end of the jetty.
Sailing Day 2
Sail up to Phang Nga Bay, which is world famous for its limestone rocks and caves. Here the kayaks will come in handy to check out the caves, which open up inside the island into a “hong” which means “open room” inside the island. Visit Hongs at Koh Panak. Move further north for the night anchorage at Koh Hong Phang Nga.
Sailing Day 3
A pleasant sail along the limestone formations will take us to Koh Pan Yai otherwise known as the Sea Gypsy Village which is built on stilts over the water to the south of the sheer cliffs of the island. James Bond Island, which is nearby gives another opportunity to visit.
Sailing Day 4
A long hop stopping at Koh Hong East to explore the Hong by kayak, further south stopping at Koh Kai ( Chicken Island). For those that are energetic a walk ashore to watch the sunset.
Sailing Day 5
A short hop to Bamboo Island for snorkeling and fishing. We then set sail and head for Phi Phi Island.
This spectacular island has become very popular with tourists for its scuba diving, night life, and massages. Take a massage, go for manicure and pedicure and drop into some lively bars in the evening.
Sailing Day 6
Early morning walk to the viewpoint, which gives a panoramic view of both bays Tonsai & Ludulum. Departure to Phi Phi Leh which is the island, where the movie “The Beach” was filmed. Enclosed by high steep cliffs except for the small entrance this is a truly stunning bay. Breakfast at Phi Phi Leh. Later departure for KoMai Thon for more snorkeling and beachcombing.
Sailing Day 7
Breakfast on board, Morning Sail to Chalong bay for collection by minibus and departure from the yacht.
